Lala, a web based music service that has been receiving some definite love over at Techcrunch has now went a step further in promoting their music virally. Previously only a beta feature, Facebook Connect has been implemented across the board for all Lala users. Giving users the ability to automatically put music widgets in their news feed stream whenever they share music with anyone on Lala. Since people love music and it is rather void on Facebook I expect many people will be eating that feature up, and that Lala will see a definite increase in users.

Twitter while not that feature rich also has significant viral opportunities for Lala. By simply clicking the bird icon next to share you will open a new browser window with a direct link to the song. Clicking on the bird icon also allows you to post the current song you are listening to Facebook. What is interesting to note is that you can also share web songs you haven’t paid for yet.

While these aren’t significant features added to Lala it is definitely showing that Lala wants to become the music center of the web, and at the current pace they are going it is very possible. With embeddable playlists, a business model, approval of the labels, and the Music Mover it will definitely be interesting to see Lala’s growth over the next few months. This is especially true with the recent popularity Twitter is gaining and Facebook’s vital role in social networking. Whoever can make a significant impression on the millions of soccer moms who signed up because of Oprah first will have a very dedicated market to work with.
