If for some reason you have found an excuse to go on the computer for Memorial Day, this is the post for you. I’ve found some of the most interesting posts from the last week and compiled them into a nice top 10 list for you to enjoy. After you have finished it, go have a hot dog!

I am coupling all these articles into a single item, but each one of them deserves a read. This entire ordeal shows just how much of a frenzy the news industry can get into when given a controversial topic like the revealing of personal data to the RIAA. 7.  Twitter’s Real-Time Search Hits Pause. Six Hours And Counting.
Twitter Search has had it’s results delayed by 6 hours. Louis Gray thinks this might be a database hit, which wouldn’t be uncommon for a service like Twitter. According to the Twitter blog and using the feature, it is back, but this still shows that Twitter is fragile.

6. Microsoft dumps 3-app limit from Windows 7 Starter

For awhile now, people have been complaining about the 3 application limit on the Windows 7 Starter Kit. This version of Windows was suppose to come out on small netbooks and be a way for people to try a lite version of Windows 7. Turns out they will no longer have that limit, or that’s what Paul Thurott says.
