More On Bigfoot – Android Is Set to Blow Up

By Michael Klurfeld on May 8, 2009

g1v22Remember that Android roadmap supposedly leaked from T-Mobile on their Android deployment strategy for the coming year? Well, it turns out Techgeist’s favorite part of the news has turned out to be the real deal. The T-Mobile G1 V2, also known as Bigfoot, is definitely coming to market, and at a great deal. This beautiful handset can be yours for $150 with a two year T-Mobile contract, at least if you buy one at Walmart. Getting into Walmart is a great move for the Android platform as it exposes an entire segment of the market that would otherwise pass a “Google phone” by to the product. Hopefully this will kick-start the beginning of Android’s being a real threat to the iPhone.
