How To Tether Your 3G iPhone Now – No Hacking

By Alex Wilhelm on June 18, 2009

tetheringYou need to do this now. If you have not already seen this, here is how to install tethering on your iPhone right now. For free. No hacking needed. For ATT customers in the US:

Go to this site, on your iPhone, follow its directions:  http://help.benm.at/

Now, restart your iPhone.

Following, head to Settings -> General -> Network -> Internet Tethering. Turn it on.

Turn off WiFi on your computer, and plug in your phone. Your phone should have a blue bar beneath the time. Your computer should recognize the new internet source.

Tethering will now work.

Update: If you have iPhone 3.1, this will not work.
