Unlike Empire Apple, some phone companies actually want to make using their devices simple. With that in mind, Palm is bringing the great spanking new Pre to Verizon this coming January. Sadly for the ATT team, the phone will be nowhere in sight. iPhone’s only for a while it seems. As a quick aside: why is it that new phones come out every year but our contracts are always for two years? For year one, you have the best thing that makes texts, than for a year you are yesterdays news. Here’s a tip: I would pay 50 more for my phone to get an upgrade after a year, and 50 more each year, etc. I want a iPhone 3gs, but 499? Screw off, Apple.
