Stalk My Google Searches

By Holden Page on June 1, 2009

While Bing might be stealing the show and rightfully so (it kicks ass) Google lets you share your searches and thoughts on them. If you have a Google Account you are probably use to seeing the much controversial Searchwiki like voting system and comments. While I haven’t been very active with searching directly on Google because of Chrome’s Omnibox and Twoquick, I occasionally visit Google directly to see Techgeist rankings. Turns out I can now share what I think about Techgeist by simply upping or commenting on the search result with one link.

2009-06-01_161800Called Searchwiki notes, you can now share your various actions on a certain search with the world. The links are permanent and are seemingly in “real-time” since you can see the changes immediatly on the said link. While I am going to be honest I am not sure what the purpose is, it is neat none the less. As for Google search itself though, you got some ’splainin to do because Bing is kicking your butt out the door and Searchwiki notes isn’t doing a damn thing.
