With all the news of Google finally releasing Gmail from beta, you might see some problems coming from Google that may make you think the exact opposite. Some users are reporting that creating a Gmail accounts requires SMS verification..This was a feature implemented way back in early beta of Gmail where invites were only given during random hours, or by having Google send a SMS message to your phone. Also, Google Apps seems to have the Free version missing from the pricing page. The free version is one that we use here at Techgeist to keep our emails in working order.
Hopefully these problems will soon disappear, and we can see what new features the out-of-beta Gmail team can offer us in the upcoming months. Lately, Google has been really quick to launch new features for Gmail, trying to given it’s product useful tools to better help people who use their service. If this trend continues, we could possibly see some big breakthroughs with how people handle email.
