Yext is going to send your business pay per action phone calls. Past the fact that I hate talking on the phone, this might work. You, the guy buying phone calls, select what type of actions you are looking for. They skipped over the how people call you section, I’m not sure what happened. However, next they showed us a list of made phone calls, and noted that they logged the call automatically.
The demo man made a very funny call, full of pre-planned fail.
It seems that indeed the system seems to transcribe the calls? Or is that done by hand? All of the calls are put into an inbox, with the odd ones put into the spam folder. Think Gmail for calls. The Yext system takes about one minute to analyze the call, and spit our a report a log of what happened.
This is actually awesome. Voice to text has always sucked, but somehow they actually did it. What DragonNaturallySpeaking failed to do in a decade, Yext seems to have already done. I’ll being trying this out when it launches.
