British irreverence on 3 wheels: Morgan 3 Wheeler tested
Possibly this is the most unusual car few have tried ... and certainly continues to hold this title for a long time. Today, today awaits me in the pitlane of the Morgan 3 Wheeler Jarama. Engine response is strong in the initial acceleration to turn into a somewhat less aggressive response as it increases the rate and rhythm, responds quite well especially thanks to its weight of 500 kg. We shot about 5,000 rpm and the accumulation of sensations can not be greater. It is not too demanding, at least I hoped it was over and driving away greatly from a Caterham Seven much more radical, more playful behind, rougher at the touch of the gearbox, pedals and of course an address without any assistance. There is a world away between Seven and 3 Wheeler, precisely separates a Caterham ready to enjoy a track day and a perfect companion 3 Wheeler as a route to any Sunday quieter pace.
As for the driving position were quite low, with well set sights on the horizon and barely see anything below the small front glass, however, on our side we have a perfect view of the right wheel and the exhaust system which runs from the outside both sides. The Morgan 3 Wheeler is unrivaled in the market. You can have a Ferrari 458 Italia next door at the traffic lights ... and hardly get noticed more than the Morgan 3 Wheeler. For better or worse, it is not suitable for timid car.
I stay certainly looking forward to spending more time with Morgan 3 Wheeler, heading out to enjoy beyond the circuit for some road Madrid mountains and even leaving that night for dinner at a downtown restaurant with him.
