TechGeist, the flagship property of the NextTech network, is a technology weblog covering emerging technology trends, major industry news, and startup companies in the technology space. TechGeist is a fresh, new look at the world of technology. When the major technology blogging networks went stale following the collapse of the Web 2.0 bubble, TechGeist was founded to bring new insight to a vital industry. Comprised of five authors from around the United States, TechGeist is a growing brand across the world of technology, having been featured on SlashDot, Reddit, and Techmeme, and mentioned on CrunchGear, Mashable, and TechCrunch. While TechGeist does not yet have the reach of the giants, it is respected for fairness, depth of reporting, and quick to the punch coverage of events.
NextTech, parent to TechGeist is an expanding network of blogs. Recently launched, and already successful, SocialGeist covers the hottest emerging trends in social media. NextTech has further expansions plans, and will be launching other properties in the coming months.
