The WebOS team have put out a virtual keyboard for the Palm Pre. Despite the Pre’s physical keyboard, there has been clamor for something of the virtual variety. The Pre’s keyboard works very well in portrait mode, but as it slides out the long way, you can’t use it at all in landscape. Guess what? The virtual keyboard does work in landscape mode. And according to some early testers, it seems to be compatible with all text fields.
